Maybe you have been able to enjoy some outdoor concerts from le Festival d'été, organized by the Centre Culturel Francophone de Vancouver. This year I was there to shoot an afternoon full of laughs & smiles: la Fête des Enfants. And we were blessed to have a magnificent sun shining on us all day. Here is a little insight on the day.

A few days ago I had the pleasure to work with the CCAFCB and shoot their event Pacifique en Chanson. It is always a pleasure to work with new talents and meet amazing people.
The francophone community on the West Coast is very alive and full of talents, come check it out someday! There is always a show happening around town.
From time to time, I offer my time to an organization and volunteer as a photographer for their event or various projects. Not being able to get involved on the long term, this is my way to help my community.
Big Sisters of the Lower Mainland is a wonderful organization that helps mentoring young girls and this was my second time working with them. This year's hosts included Paulina Cameron (keynote speaker of the event, entrepreneur, community leader and 'Canada 150 Women' author), and the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia, the Honourable Janet Austin.
early morning, alone to wander around and have the Dune du Pyla (Dune du Pilat) to ourselves. Bliss!
