Hier soir je suis allée aider ma soeur (www.lachouettetik.com) sur le night market de la Sauvagerie. Super ambiance, supers créateurs et lieu magique.
C'est un lieu éphémère qui est ouvert jusqu'au 31 Août au Pyla. Alors rendez-vous l'année prochaine ! En attendant voici quelques photos pour vous mettre dans l'ambiance ;-)

Wonderful energy, smiles, laughs, some tears but the good ones and two happy families for this perfect crisp day at the end of September in the lower mainland.
The first Repair cafe started in the Netherlands and has since become an international movement.
It's a community gatherings where visitors get their broken household items fixed, free of charge, with the help of experienced volunteers.
Being very conscious about our way of consuming and throwing everything away at the first break, I wanted to get more involved and document positive actions towards the environment.
So last year when I was still living in Vancouver, I was able to shoot one of the first Vancouver Repair cafe events.
At a typical event, you can expect to see fixing stations for Electronics, Small Appliances, Textile, Jewelry, Woodwork and Bikes.

I usually don't photograph friends' weddings as I can't wear 2 hats (guest & photographer). But from time to time I agree to do so and bring my camera along.
