End of August and early September I had the opportunity to join Anne and Nicolas from Huîtres MarGo and discover their work as ostricultors on Bassin d'Arcachon.
I spent some time onshore and on the 'plate', a specific boat that ostreicultors use to go from park to park to check their osyters.
Anne Marquet and Nicolas Goderel started their company Huîtres MarGo about 5 years ago and are about to receive the 1st organic label in the oyster world on the Bassin d'Arcachon.
